The first thing that comes to my mind about them is their curved mouth, which gives them a permanent smile. Dolphins can reach 40 years of age, but their average lifespan is about 15-16 years. The largest dolphin can grow to be over 30 feet long. Their diet mainly consists of fish and squid.

I first saw them on a TV Programme that shows the intelligence of dolphins. Some zoologists give the dolphins some training, and just after the first few lessons, they can respond well to the zoologists’ signals. For example, when one zoologist raised his voice, the dolphins just squeaked and then swam in a circle. |

Explain what you like about dolphins |
Well, what I really like about them is that they are highly social mammals which communicate with squeaks or whistles. It seems that they have a language just as humans do, they make sense of the world in their own way Another interesting point about them is that they are awesome swimmers as they can reach speeds of 18 miles per hour. I really fancy seeing them frolic in the water, leaping out of the water for fun, to communicate with their peers and trainers or watching them playing with children or even adults in the water. They would never hurt people; they usually ask for affection from us.
