The line graph and the table indicate the average monthly temperatures and the yearly hours of sunshine in London, New York and Sydney.
Overall, changes in temperatures in London and New York show a similarity with the hottest weather being in July, whereas the highest average temperature in Sydney is in December. The total hours of New York and Sydney are nearly the same and significantly higher than that of London.
With regard to the monthly temperatures in greater detail, the monthly figures of London and New York vary considerably with a relatively similar pattern although the city in North America has warmer summers and colder winters. The monthly temperatures rise from their lowest points at around 5 degrees to a peak of 25 degrees and 30 degrees respectively in July. New York’s temperatures decrease to roughly 5 degrees in December, which was half the data of London in the same month. In contrast, Sydney experiences the warmest weather in January with 25 degrees and the coldest weather in July with the figure hitting the lowest level of 15 degrees.
As for sunshine duration, New York and Sydney have relatively similar figures of 2,535 and 2,473 hours respectively. In contrast, the average number of sunshine on a yearly basis across London stands at a significantly lower level of 1,158 hours.
