The given maps indicate how the waterfront area of a town called Darwin was transformed from 2009 to 2014.

Overall, it is clear that the waterfront area had been greatly developed with the conversion of the industrial area into residential, recreational, and academic facilities. Another notable feature is the appearance of a brand-new harbor which improved the transportation of the area.

In 2009, the majority of the town was covered by the industrial area which was then demolished to make room for a number of trees and amenities. In the North, a part of the industrial zone was replaced by a newly-built swimming pool, while there were no alterations to the school, convention center, and two swimming pools. In the center of the town, there was construction of three residential buildings, adjacent to the three previous ones. In addition, a university building was erected to the West of the area.
With regard to access, in the seashore of the town, a harbor was constructed. There was also construction of a footpath which connected the newly-constructed harbor with the main road in the West of the town. Meanwhile, the footpath which encircled the center of the town witnessed no changes.
