It was over ten years ago when I got the announcement that I passed the university entrance exam. I was so over the moon and screamed as loudly as possible. I had been studying very hard, burning the candle at both ends and eventually, the result I got was worth my enormous efforts. |

Then, I told my parents about the great news, and they got so excited. They said that they took great pride in me, and they decided to give me some money to throw a party to celebrate my success with my friends. |

After that, I called my best friends. They were so happy for me. I invited them to have some street food and drinks which would be my treat. They loved to join, and we gathered at about 5 pm. Then we ate a lot of good food, chattered non-stop until 8 pm. Next, we decided to go to a small pub where we could enjoy the vibrant music and danced joyfully. |

I got so high after I went out with my friends. We did have a blast. We didn’t get home until 1 AM. My parents were still up when I got home. They were just a bit unhappy about me getting home so late, but they just let it go later.
Well, after having so much fun that day, I got excited yet a bit worried about my college life. I was going to get to know a lot of new friends from many parts of the country and learn new things, but I would have to learn to take care of myself and become partially independent, I mean financially independent. I would have to get a part-time and learn to manage time for study, work, and social life. |
