These days, TV programs featuring men’s sport seem to eclipse female sports. The reason for this stems from a wider audience watching men’s sports, and I believe that TV producers should pay equal attention to games played by both genders.
Thân bài
Đề bài gồm 2 câu hỏi, và chúng ta sẽ có 2 thân bài tương ứng để lần lượt trả lời hai câu hỏi này.
Do đó, ta viết được thân bài như sau:
The major factor leading to the preference for men’s sport is a wider audience of sports played by men. In fact, the audience of sports featuring male athletes considerably outnumbers those played by women. For example, in 2018, men’s football, which is regarded as the King of sports, attracts ten times more spectators than women’s football in Vietnam alone. Therefore, games played by males generate more investments from advertising contracts and sponsorship, contributing more profits to TV programmers.
However, I would argue that sports performed by both sexes should be given even TV coverage. First, such equality provides female athletes an incentive to cultivate their talents, therefore devote outstanding performances. This will also promote sportsmanship where players of both genders are given equal opportunities to develop their talents. Another reason is the growing interest in women’s sports in recent years. In other words, sports largely dominated by females’ presence, such as volleyball, have gained in popularity; as a result, there should be more show time for such female programs.
