Despite the ubiquity of television, many people still opt for live shows rather than recorded programs when it comes to entertainment and sports. I disagree with this perspective for the reasons below.

On the one hand, I believe that going to auditoriums to spectate is thrilling in certain aspects. First, spectators can feel the euphoria of watching their favorite celebrities directly on the spot. Being a part of the cheering crowd, live attendees can enjoy their passion to the fullest, which evokes far more excitement and amusement than any recorded versions do. Second, attending a show in person is the only chance for die-hard fans to interact and show their appreciation. For instance, last year when attending a live concert performed by Ha Anh Tuan, my favorite singer, other audiences and I gave him an enthusiastic standing ovation for his splendid performance.
On the other hand, it seems to me that watching televised productions is more convenient and economical. First, going to a live event can be costly. Live show tickets are often sold at exorbitant prices for ordinary people to afford. Watching such events in front of the screen is, on the other hand, much more low-cost or even free. Furthermore, new technologies allow viewers to be absorbed in their favorite shows at their convenience. They can avoid any hassles including the risk of injury when being in a sea of people while being engrossed in their desired performances in their comfortable home.

In conclusion, I am of the opinion that while live shows offer more recreational experiences, it is more economical and convenient to watch broadcasted versions.
